We are so very proud of our school choir who performed at Children Singing for Children this evening. It was a pleasure to listen to them sing alone, with St Mary's C of E Primary School, Banbury and in the finale with the other schools that performed this evening. Well done to all of you, you were amazing.

2nd Birch 481 3rd Maple 356 To begin Hedgehogs topic this term of 'Guess Who?', which will involve learning about nursing and nurses over time, we had a visit from Lucy our school nurse. The children loved learning all about her job and asking lots of questions. Later in the day they learnt about Edith Cavell and made bravery medals to celebrate her bravery helping soldiers from both sides during WW1.
During the holidays FOW funds were used to complete the mud kitchen and install a shelter, which the children can use as a calm space during play times. The children have already been making great use of both.
Congratulations to Maple who were the house point winners for autumn term 1 and today enjoyed an extra play outside. Points will now be reset for this term.
Final standings: Maple 6224 Oak 6084 Birch 5766 Hedgehogs applied skills they have learnt to write their own stories containing a wish. For over 35 years, Rotary and its members have been committed to the global fight to eradicate polio. The significance of the colour purple is that in many developing countries, when a child receives their life-saving polio drops during mass immunisation days, their little finger is marked with purple dye to show they’ve been vaccinated. Wroxton's Pupil Leadership Team were invited by Mr Chris May to plant crocuses at All Saints Church. We look forward to seeing them bloom next spring.Hedgehogs spent a wonderful day at Woburn Safari Park today. They loved seeing all the different animals during the coach safari. We also got to get very close to the giraffes. A fantastic way to conclude our Habitat Hunters topic.
Current standings before the final count for this term at the end of this week and then Autumn 1 winners will be announced.
