My name is Mrs Ruffle and I feel it is a true pleasure to be part of the children's learning journey. I have now been teaching over 20 years and still enjoy seeing the joy children get from over coming hurdles and all being successful in different ways.
When I'm not teaching I spend time with my 2 children and family. We like to go out for walks or out on the bikes. I love to read and will try to find a little bit of time each day to read my book. I also love cooking and baking. My name is Mrs Blunden and I have been a teacher at Wroxton for quite some time now. In fact, I have had the privilege of teaching the siblings and even some parents of children who have been in my class in the past!
I am thrilled to be working with Year Two this year and am looking forward to our upcoming projects. I love to see how they become more confident in their own abilities during the year and it is always wonderful to see those 'lightbulb' moments when they are so proud of grasping a new concept. |

Our Book Focus
This term our main class book will be all linked to our project 'Living Rainforest'. The Great Kapok Tree by Lynne Cherry is a beautifully illustrated story set in the Amazon rainforest, where a man falls asleep under a giant kapok tree and dreams of the many animals that depend on it for survival. |
