We have three Houses at Wroxton, each named after trees found in our glorious grounds; Birch, Maple and Oak. The House system is a great British tradition and its purpose is to create a collegiate, but competitive, system with in school in which students can be proud and learn the values of being supportive to each other. Healthy competition will set students up with the skills required for later life, for example learning empathy and tenacity. Every child is allocated to a house and families are in the same house. Our houses are lead by a member of staff and by our Year 6 Captains and supported by pupils in Years 3-5. Children earn house points for making positive behaviour choices and great effort with their learning at home and school.
