Kites are a wonderful class who are thoughtful and enthusiastic learners. We love working collaboratively and supporting each other to be our best selves.

Mrs Blunden

I've been fortunate to work at Wroxton for some years now and to have had the privilege of teaching the older siblings of some of the children in my class. I've even been lucky enough to teach one or two of past pupils' parents in the past!

I love seeing how the Kites make connections within their learning. There is no
greater joy than seeing their pride when they suddenly have that 'lightbulb' moment and a tricky concept becomes clear.

This year I celebrate teaching for 30 Years and it is an immese priviledge to support and inspire the children throughout the school. I love books and cannot wait to share some of my favourites and read your recommendations.

This term we are going to be using our trip to the Bank of England and our session with The Royal Mint to write an explanation text. The children have explored the features of an explanation text and will use their knowledge to plan, research and write an explanation text 'How coins are made?'.

We will be reading Millions - Brothers Damian and Anthony didn't mean to get caught up in a botched train robbery. But what would you do if a massive bag of cash dropped from the sky and you had only a few days to spend it before it became worthless? Buy a million pizzas? End world poverty? Find out what they do..
