Which material should Mr Grinling use?

This afternoon’s challenge was to decide the best material for Mr Grinling to construct his holiday tent from. Eagles’ decided the key properties were; lightweight, waterproof, bendy and opaque. They tested cotton, paper, thin polythene, metal and thick tarpaulin.
All groups concluded that tarpaulin should be chosen because it was flexible enough to fold, strong enough to survive wind and rain, light enough to carry and its lack of transparency meant privacy in daylight and darkness at night to help him sleep
