STEM challenges

​Squirrels have combined our science knowledge and problem solving skills to challenge ourselves this week. Our Cojo mission was to build a nest for Izzy Gizmo’s bird. It had to be high enough to stop predators, stable enough for him not to fall and, as he has broken wings and can’t fly, a ramp, ladder or steps for him to climb to get up into the nest.
Enhanced provision options include creating our own bubble wands to explore if shape and rigidity impact on bubble size, persevering to build our own tallest button tower and working collaboratively to group classroom objects by their properties.
