Squirrels at the Sealife Centre

Consolidating our 'in class' Amazing Animals science work on classification, habitats and adaptations we loved the chance to meet real sea creatures. Reception had the opportunity to touch rockpool creatures whilst in their workshop Year 1 considered the impact of sea pollution. They recycled rubbish, learnt about seahorses and used elastic bands and their fingers to try to 'free the seahorse from the rubbish' and played 'the sea says'.
