Set Designs

This week, The Falcons have been bringing their set designs, where ideas were initially drafted and annotated in their sketch books,  to life; focussing first of all, on a 3-D element. They have used last term's text, Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, to inspire them, as well as the work of Rae Smith, the set designer for Michael Morpurgo's stage adaptation of War Horse. Some of them have chosen to work with a partner to choose the scene they wanted to recreate. We are hopeful that in a few weeks' time, we will be able to share our finished sets with you and that you will be able to guess which part of the play they are taken from.
