Homemade traditional toys

​Today, Eagles have been using cardboard to make toys that children might have created and played with in WW2. We made cups and balls during provision.
Then in DT we started making pull-along toys. We evaluated 3 different wheel shapes, decided which tools we needed for cutting our selected shape and for punching holes for the axel and which adhesive to use for attaching the string and the axel to the base.
We tested our finished protypes. We brainstormed improvements we can make. Suggestions included; stronger wheels, something to stop wheels falling off, an axel that moves and, having an appealing object stuck onto the base for the child to pull
