Flowering plants

Eagles have been investigating flowering plants. In science we identified wild and garden flowers in the school grounds, closely observed, sketched and labelled viola’s parts and compared them to daffodils. We also updated our bean and sunflower growing diaries. In Busy Time we have been creating our own paper flowers, categorising which part of the plant we eat, measuring sunflowers (as practice for when our own grow!) and bouquet order creation in our new florists role play
