Artistic Eagles

This term’s Art Day project for Eagles was ‘stick transformation’. They made observational drawings of bark, pine cones and twigs, discussed Chris Kenny’s “Twenty Twigs” and “Twelve Twigs” and used their own bodies to recreate some of his twig poses. They sketched designs, exploring how positioning, colour and twig size impacts on a stick person’s personality. They then used their gained knowledge to bind their own stick person sculpture
