Art Day in Squirrels

We had a brilliant art day in Squirrels Class this week. The children were inspired by the artwork of Guiseppe Arcimboldo. They created portraits both by printing with various fruits and vegetables and by cutting out and arranging photographs of food.  Squirrels also looked closely at the colours and shapes of fresh food and packages and drew from observation. Finally, the children used collage materials to create a wide variety of very colourful foods.
