Badgers: Year 5 and Year 6

As the oldest students in our school, Years 5 and 6 Badgers hold a very special place in our community. This year is all about growing in independence, taking on new responsibilities, and setting an exceptional example for the younger children.

As leaders of the school, they will have unique opportunities to shape our community, from taking on vital leader roles to leading whole-school initiatives. With these privileges come high expectations. We look forward to seeing Badgers demonstrate excellent behaviour, kindness, and dedication to their learning every single day.

This year will challenge them, inspire them, and prepare you for the next big step in their educational journey. Let’s work together to make it a memorable, successful, and brilliant year!

All About Badgers

Badgers are a small, excitable bunch who each bring something different to the class.

We have a very calm and spacious classroom, allowing us to move freely and independently whilst taking ownership of our belongings. We care, we are helpful, and we are inclusive – everyone matters and everyone belongs!

We are excited for what the year ahead holds.

Miss Brooks

Since graduating as a teacher 16 years ago and remaining in the same school for most of that time, I am excited to be settling into Wroxton and beginning my own new journey. When I'm not at school, I enjoy spending time with my two children, family and friends. I like country walks, snowboarding, music and most of all – eating out!

Miss Thomas

I am really looking forward to settling into life at Wroxton with the Badgers this year as well as continuing to share my love of nature and Forest School with the wider school. Outside of school, I love being in the mountains and walking my dogs in the countryside.
