Foxes are the oldest children at Wroxton primary School and great role models to our younger members. Their teacher is Mrs Di Giorno and they are supported by Mrs West and Mrs Woodcock.
Foxes are a small class with a brilliant collection of talented artists, musicians, investigators, writers, mathematicians and sporty individuals. They approach learning with enthusiasm, curiosity and determination. They are good role models who demonstrate kindness, responsibility and respect.
I look forward to seeing them flourish this year. It is an immense privilege to support and inspire the children throughout the school. I love books and cannot wait to share some of my favourites and read your recommendations.
In Foxes class, we think about our learning behaviour and consider our choices carefully. We learn from our mistakes and support each other. We collect marbles for making the right choices and together we have chosen our rewards:
|
150 marbles |
300 marbles | 450 marbles | 600 marbles |
| 15 mins extra play in the sunshine | Crafts afternoon | Biscuit decorating | Mini disco |
Here is our termly cog document where you can find details of the different subjects we are covering this term:

Foxes will will be studying The Tempest by William Shakespeare. The children will explore the magical island setting, dramatic storms and memorable characters while developing their reading, speaking and writing skills. Through drama, discussion and creative activities, they will investigate themes such as friendship, power and forgiveness, bringing Shakespeare’s famous play to life in an engaging and accessible way.
This term, Foxes will read a selection of stories by William Shakespeare to help explore life and culture during the Elizabethan era. Through exciting tales, memorable characters and dramatic themes, the children will develop their understanding of the period. The stories will provide a valuable insight into entertainment, beliefs and society in Tudor England.
